Grace Harriett Johnson, age 82, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Grace was born February 22, 1932 in Joplin and she lived in Joplin most of her life. She was a private in-home care giver. She attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church and was a member of St. Paul's Lamplighters.
She married Leon Johnson in December, 1969 and he preceded her in death in October, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Jesse Mildred Lansaw Glaze, one infant son, one infant daughter, five brothers, two sisters, and a grandson, Kenneth Lakhdar.
Survivors include one daughter Janie Bratton, Joplin, MO; one granddaughter, Sara Jane Stonecipher and her fiancé Joshua Brown; and two great grandchildren, Shadow Vylette Stonecipher and Set Giles Stonecipher.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home & Crematory, Webb City.
