Sylvia Ann Ramsey, age 94, Joplin, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin.
Sylvia was born September 24, 1919 in Reeds, Missouri, daughter of the late Jessie A. Kennel and Rosha B. Griffith Kennel. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ramsey who died in 1988; her daughter, Roberta Wilson; and her siblings.
Survivors include her son, Don Ramsey and wife Shirley of Seligman, Missouri; grandchildren, William Ramsey and wife Cynthia of Joplin, Chris Ramsey of Neosho, Missouri, MaDonna Curato of Joplin, and Traci Lluvera of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; niece, Joyce Crumbliss and her three children of Joplin.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Jasper School Cemetery west of Reeds, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
