Dorothy L. Cooper, 95, passed away February 24, 2014 at Seneca House in Seneca, Missouri.
Dorothy was born in Lamar, Missouri January 16, 1919 to Andrew J. Bass and Lucy “Bell” Bass. She was a longtime Carthage resident. Dorothy was the head cook at Carthage R-9 schools for several years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carthage and a member of the Eastern Star of Carthage.
Dorothy was united in marriage to Everett Eugene Cooper December 16, 1937 in Webb City, Missouri he survives. Dorothy is survived by one son Everett Ray Cooper and Wife Kathy of Carthage, Three grandchildren Brian of Austin Texas, Paul and wife Jana of Oronogo and David and wife Bethany of Joplin, Three great grandchildren Miranda, Lane and Maleah.
Services will be held 10:00a.m. Thursday February 27, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will be at Park Cemetery Carthage. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
