On August 29, 2017, Bryan Patrick Daugherty of Joplin, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Bryan was born on August 20, 1957 in Joplin, MO to Fred and Barbara (Robinson) Daugherty who survive. He grew up in Webb City, MO and graduated from Webb City High School with the class of 1975.
He attended Missouri Southern State College (MSSU) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Missouri State University. He was employed as Director of Financial Reporting at Leggett & Platt in Carthage, MO.
Bryan was the “Best Dad in the World” to his daughter Kayleigh of Joplin and son Colin (Cristiana) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by his sister Robyn (Steve) and her family of Joplin, MO, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who loved him.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Bryan knew that he loved the Beatles, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, NASA, James Bond, and most of all his children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Houston, TX SPCA towards the rescue of pets displaced by Hurricane Harvey and may be left in care of the mortuary.
Everyone who loved him is invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, September 9 at 6:00 pm at the Minerva Candy Company. 12 South Main Street, Webb City, MO. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite St. Louis Cardinals, classic rock, NASA or MIZZOU apparel in honor of Bryan.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
