(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Danny Dale Griffberg, age 75 of Neosho, MO formerly of Carl Junction, passed away at 5:19 AM on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Danny was born in Carthage, MO on January 20, 1947 to Pearl Griffberg. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany for several years. He had lived throughout the four-state area, including Carthage, Carl Junction, and Neosho. He spent many years as a truck driver, and retired as a driver for Construction Debris Rolloff (CDR) of Carl Junction, MO.
He was united in marriage with Pamela (Woods) Griffberg in Joplin, MO on November 30, 1968. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2020.
He was also preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Griffberg; and one granddaughter, Karlie Dawn Asbell.
Survivors include one son, Dustin Griffberg (wife, Michele) of Carl Junction, MO; one daughter, Kimberly Wilson (husband, Paul) of Neosho, MO; 5 grandsons, Colten, Hunter (wife, Brielle), Kyler, Kaden, and Chase; Great-Granddaughters, Everleigh and Zaeleigh; one brother, Larry Griffberg (wife, Gladys) of Carthage; several nieces & nephews, and his beloved dogs, BooBoo and Abbey.
Mr. Griffberg has been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena for cremation. The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at The Table 206 N.Main Street Carl Junction, MO.
