(From Lakin Funeral Home)David Leroy Green, age 61, of Pierce City, MO passed away at his home on Friday, December 23, 2022, due to a sudden illness. He was born on Friday, July 28, 1961, in Monett, MO and lived in Pierce City and was a member of the 1979 graduating class of Pierce City High School. Mr. Green retired from Wells Aluminum in Monett, MO.
Mr. Green is survived by his parents, Jerry and Reta Pearce in Pierce City, MO; two sisters, Sharon Cleaveland of Joplin, MO and Teri Lucus of Monett, MO; two brothers, Stan Pearce of Monett, MO and Gary Pearce of Joplin, MO. He will be missed by many other family members and friends.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Green of Springfield, MO; and two sisters, Rhonda Metlach of Pierce City, MO and Susan Pearce of Pierce City, MO.
Graveside services and burial will be at Berwick Cemetery in Pierce City, MO on Thursday, December 29, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Hagebusch officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
