(From Parker Mortuary)Jimmy Lee Cook, Jr, 56-day old son of Jimmy Cook and Angelina Barron, passed away at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.
Jimmy was born October 29, 2022 in Joplin, and lived in Galena with his parents. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Johnnie Cook, Jr., and an uncle, Kevin Cook.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Angel; grandparents, Lena Perez of Galena, Jorge Reyes of Kansas City, Kansas; aunts and uncles, Johnny Cook, III, Victoria Cook, Esperanza Barron, and Michael Asher; several cousins including Micheal Scot and Milionna Barron.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 30, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with cremation to follow the service.
