(From Clark Funeral Home)Irma Jean Lucy Wagner, Joplin, Missouri, entered into rest on December 15, 2022, at her home at the age of 88. Irma was born in Neosho, Missouri at the family home, on August 24, 1934, the daughter of Paul J. and Maggie (Testerman) Scott.
She was a homemaker, worked in poultry production, as a cook at Red's Truck Stop, a driver for a local car auction, a farmer, and self-employed scrap metal salvage. She was married two times and divorced two times. Irma Jean was saved at a tent revival at the age of 15 by E. H. Miller.
She was the mother of seven children, one son, and six daughters. She is survived by her six daughters, Lois (Butch) Adkins, Sherry Osley, Carol ( Damon) Roberson, Naoma Hagood, Ruth Whitehead, and Martha (Paul) Moore; daughter-in-law, Debbie Green; grandchildren, Mickey, Charley, Dustin (Carla) Green, Ann Marie, Kennie Sauter, Bobby Hagood, Tammy, Maggie, Yvette, Derrick, Sara, and Rebecca; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by a son, Stanley Green; grandson, B. J. Freeman and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Burkhart Cemetery, and family will honor her by serving as pallbearers.
