Kari Williams

Mrs. Kari Williams, 61 of Southwest City, Missouri departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home after an illness.

Kari was born April 20, 1961 in Pomona, California to the late Harold Eugene and Margie (Cherry) Potter. Kari and her family moved to the Southwest City area in 1968, she has lived in the area ever since. 

In 1992 in Miami, OK she was united in marriage to Bruce Williams. Kari worked for Walmart for many years. She enjoyed being outdoors, muscle cars and taking care of her 1979 Camaro.








Kari was preceded in death by her husband Bruce on September 18, 2020 a sister, Kathy Myrick and two brothers, Lonnie Potter and Loyld Potter.

Kari is survived by two sons; Jason Potter and Jerry Adkins and wife Sierra all of Southwest City, a daughter; Karla Shelton and husband Darrell of Jay, OK, two sisters; Kannie Potter and husband Jim of Southwest City and Karen Birrell and husband Bill of Morganhill, CA, seven grandchildren, Jordan Reece, Kaylen Reece, Kassidy Reece, Jacoby Adkins, Kya Adkins, Harold Poetter and Pheobe Potter, and five great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.








Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Kari Williams will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Southwest City Cemetery will Pastor Benny Lukins officiating. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are; Terry Lemonds, Sr., T.J. Lemonds, Eric Lemonds, Mike Blevins, Toby Moore, and Brent Homler. 

 Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Ozark Funeral home in Southwest City, MO.
