(From Clark Funeral Home)Vada E. Koderick, of Racine, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2022, at the age of 93. Vada was born November 14, 1929, in Barnum, Wisconsin, one of ten children to John R. and Lillian (Edington) Puckett.
She taught school in private Christian schools, having last taught at Racine Apostolic School. Her favorite subjects to teach were math and phoenix. She was awarded the attendance award at FJN Christian School in Weed Patch, California, and received an appreciation for teaching from the Racine Apostolic School.
Vada enjoyed writing poetry and had one of her poems selected for publication. She enjoyed going to garage sales, crocheting, and sewing; she was an avid reader, but most of all, she enjoyed time with her family. She was a longtime member of the Racine Apostolic Church and taught Sunday school for many years.
On July 10, 1949, Vada and Leo G. Koderick were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1999, just three months shy of celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Vada is survived by one son, Stephen Jerome Koderick, Sr. of Racine; six grandchildren, Valerie Evalyn (Jeremy) Lankford of Neosho, Vickie Jean (Michael) Nowlin of Joplin, Stephen Jerome Koderick, Jr. of Cabot, Arkansas, Samuel Aaron (Tabitha) Koderick of Seneca; Mindy Lou (Scott) Williams of Fairland, Oklahoma and Christina Monica Boyer of Racine; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; one brother, Virgil (Jean) Puckett of Pensacola, Florida and two sisters-in-law, Elinore Puckett and Marie Koderick.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Hazel; seven brothers, Fred, Clifford, John, Harold, Ray, Robert, and Norman and a great-grandson, Dalton James Lankford.
