(From Ozark Funeral Home)We are sad to announce the passing of Robert James Mills of Anderson, MO. He died at age 72 on December 27, 2022.
Bob passed away with his loving wife and daughter by his side after a long hard battle with cancer. There was never a dull moment if he was around.
He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and his animals. Bob was an Army Veteran and retired from Simmons Foods where he worked in the maintenance department. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his father, Herman James Mills, Mother, Thelma Cecilia Mills-Berry and sister, Janis Correll. He leaves behind his wife, Jackie Mills of the home; daughter, Audra Blue (Darrell) of Anderson, MO; two bonus kids, Tisha Jones of Topeka, KS and Mitchell Jones (Heather) of Ft Myers, FL; two sisters, Sharon Tefft and Patricia Roberts of Topeka, KS; three brothers, Edward Mills, Michael Mills and Steven Mills all of Topeka, KS; four grandkids, James Blue (Holly) Jacksonville, Fl, Trenton Blue (Alexis) Norfolk, VA, Shawna Bridges (Jason) Neosho, MO, Kenny Blue (Monica) Anderson, MO; six great grandkids and six great-great grandkids.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later time in Topeka, KS.
