(From Parker Mortuary)Kerri Shae Jones, age 41, Joplin, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at her home.
Kerri was born August 16, 1981 in Maryville, Illinois, and grew up in Illinois and Oklahoma where she graduated from Edwardsville High School, Edwardsville, IL.
She worked as a Phlebotomist for Bio-Life for years, and most recently was working for Freeman Hospital in Joplin. She was the life of the party, and would light up a room when she entered. She loved her family, and especially her grandson, Christian. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her parents, Michael and Sharon Tomaszewski of Edwardsville; a daughter, Maggie McCoy of Joplin, her son, Mason McCoy of Columbia, Missouri; grandson, Christian Nathaniel Smith of Joplin; and her sister, Robin R. Dannenbrink of Edwardsville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
