(From Parker Mortuary)Bonnie Sue Geier 77 passed away peacefully, December 26, 2022 in Pittsburg Kansas. She was born on October 19, 1945 in Pittsburg Ks and attended Chicopee grade school. Bonnie graduated from Southeast High School in Cherokee, KS. For a number of years she worked for Abe's Flower Shop in Pittsburg and after they closed, she cleaned houses in her spare time and worked a full time job at Pittsburg State University, where she later retired.
Sue loved to stay busy and very much enjoyed life. Sue often visited her relation in Arizona making many good memories along the pool side, just having a good time.
Bonnie Sue is survived by her sister Dixie (Mike) Giffin of Chicopee, her brother Henry Krantz and sister Cheryl Ristau both of Chicopee.; also several nieces and nephews who live in the Pittsburg area, in addition to seven sisters and two brothers who all live in and around the Phoenix, Arizona area. She will be sadly missed by her family near and far away, as well as her many friends.
The family would like to thank Via Christi Village of Pittsburg, as well as Harry Hynes Hospice for their endless care and dedicated support during Sues' residence there and during this hard time.
A Celebration of Life will be held between 2 and 4pm, January 7th, 2023 in the basement of the Chicopee Civic Center, Chicopee Ks. Family request that any donations be sent to the Chicopee Foundation, 304 S. Chicopee Rd, Pittsburg Ks 66762.
