Ruth Arnall

Ruth E. Arnall, 87, Granby, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2022, at Medicalodge in Neosho, following an illness. 

Ruth was born July 2, 1935, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, one of four children to Frederick Stewart, Sr. and Mary Fritzsche Stewart. She graduated from Battin High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, fishing with her husband and singing, performing with the Silver Follies for many years. She was an avid quilter and shared her quilts with family members. 








Ruth was dedicated to the Church of St. Patrick on July 11, 1935, and was baptized on March 29, 1944, and she later joined the Granby Gospel Tabernacle where she currently was a member. 

Ruth and Johnnie B. Arnall were married on October 31, 1953, in Cranford, New Jersey and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2013.

She is survived by three children; Frank Arnall and wife, Corrie, Fred Arnall and wife, Debbie of Granby, Carrie Brock and husband, Bobbie of Neosho; daughter-in-law, Terry Arnall of Granby; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.






 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, John J. ‘JJ’ Arnall, two sisters, Mildred and Marie, and a brother, Fred, Jr.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home in Granby. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery and the grandsons will honor her by serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Tuesday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
