(From Ozark Funeral Home)Ellen Francine Simmons, 53, of Pineville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.
She was born on May 9, 1969 in Monroe, Wisconsin, to Jerry and Helen (Bogusky) Hair.
Ellen married the love of her life, David Simmons on July 12, 1987 in Aubrey, Texas and to this union five children were born. She loved music, raising her German Shepherds and was wonderful at writing poems. Ellen dearly loved her children and grandchildren and cherished her time spent with them; she will always be remembered as a loving, caring and selfless person, always thinking of others.
Ellen is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Simmons of the home; five children, Roy Simmons of Pineville, Missouri, Brandie Simmons (Justin Gouge) of Goodman, Missouri, Michael Simmons (Danielle) of Noel, Missouri, Kevin Simmons of Noel, Missouri, John Simmons of Pineville, Missouri; her mother, Helen Hair of Janesville, Wisconsin her father, Jerry Hair of Oklahoma; two siblings, John Hair of Janesville, Wisconsin, Sue Simmons of Aubrey, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kansas Simmons, Clayton Gouge, Joshua Simmons, Bradley Gouge, Waylon Gouge, Zavyn Simmons, Jaxson Simmons and Colton Gouge; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Ellen.
