(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Glenda M. Schmidt, 88, Wyandotte, OK passed into eternal rest December 9, 2022 at Communities of Wildwood after an illness.
Glenda M. Green was born August 4, 1934 in Newton County, MO the daughter of Arlie and Marjorie (Lankford) Green. She lived in the area all her life.
Glenda loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a giving person involved in helping with the church and community.
Glenda owned and operated a dairy farm in rural Wyandotte for many years. She enjoyed working on the farm. Glenda was a member of the Wyandotte Fitness Center. She made many friends and had a great time working out there. Glenda was a member of the Hottel Springs Church of Christ.
Glenda Green married Gerald Schmidt December 14, 1952 in Seneca, MO and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Marjorie Green; her brother, Larry Jo Green and one great granddaughter, Gabby Wilson.
Survivors include three children; Jill Adams and husband Keith, Independence, MO, Joan Wilson and husband Andrew, Joplin, MO and Glen Schmidt and wife Jolene, Wyandotte, OK; Siblings Gary Green and wife Marie, Neosho, Frank Green and wife Yvonne, Seneca, Sherry Owens, Sue Owens and husband Roger, Seneca and Ronda Delaney Joplin; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, December 12, 2022 at the Hottel Springs Church of Christ with Bob Hampton and Lawrence Sanders officiating. Burrial will be in the Thompson Grove Cemetery with Austin Wilson, Gabriel Schmidt, Tyler Wilson, Levi Adams, Brian Verdier and Hunter Verdier serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Lady friends from the class of 1952 and her christian sisters.
