(From Parker Mortuary)Joyce Jean Coble, age 82, of Carl Junction, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Webb City Health and Rehab in Webb City.
Joyce, daughter of the late William A. and Alice (Watson) Coble, was born on December 24, 1939, in Joplin. She grew up and attended school in Joplin and graduated from Joplin High School. She was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church in Joplin.
Joyce, having never married or children of her own, always had an open heart for her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She loved family gatherings and never missed the opportunity to be with family.
Survivors include her twin sister, Janice Coble, of Carl Junction; a sister-in-law, Herbertta Coble, of Galena; nieces and nephews, Robert and Janey Coble, of Galena, Alice and Robert Matthews, of Galena, Patty Jo Watson, of Galena, James Coble, of Galena, Thomas Strausbaugh, of Joplin, Tamara Strausbaugh, of Carl Junction, and Steven Strausbaugh, of Carl Junction; 13 great nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her twin sister, Janice Coble, of Carl Junction; a sister-in-law, Herbertta Coble, of Galena; nieces and nephews, Robert and Janey Coble, of Galena, Alice and Robert Matthews, of Galena, Patty Jo Watson, of Galena, James Coble, of Galena, Thomas Strausbaugh, of Joplin, Tamara Strausbaugh, of Carl Junction, and Steven Strausbaugh, of Carl Junction; 13 great nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel. There will be a visitation to follow the service.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
