(From Ozark Funeral Home)Jessie June Lowe, 92 of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born on June 21, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late, Otis and Iva (Michael) Duckett. Jessie married Walter B. Lowe on July 26, 1948 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She loved to play cards, cooking and gardening. She was a homemaker and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Ricky Dean Foster; brothers, Earl Duckett and Otis Dale Duckett; sisters, Lois Hawman and Willa Dean Graham.
Jessie is survived by her husband, Walter Lowe of the home; a son, Danny Walter Lowe of Joplin, Missouri; daughter, Sondra June Lowe of Joplin, Missouri; a brother, Billy Gene Duckett of Eugene, Oregon; a sister, Joyce Gail Mullins of Springfield, Oregon; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Graveside Funeral service for Jessie will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Howard Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri. Bill Klindworth will officiate.
