Tommy Fidler

Charles Thomas “Tommy” Fidler, age 70, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Freeman West Hospital.

Tommy was born January 10, 1953 in Humansville, MO, son of the late Joe Fidler and Ruby Dean (Tindle) Fidler. He graduated from Stockton High School and worked most of his life as a truck driver working for several companies over the years. He was proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a member of Country Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Linda and Brenda Fidler.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sandra Kay “Sandy” (Lightner) Fidler of Joplin; son, Chris Fidler and wife Tanna, daughter, Jodi Allen and husband Stephen all of Joplin; grandchildren, Jeanetta Fidler and Jackson Reynolds, Cameron Allen, and Collin Fidler all of Joplin; brother, Greg Fidler and wife Jeni of Stockton, MO, sisters, Pam Fidler of Greenfield, MO and Trish “Pat” Fidler of Springfield, MO; daughters, Melony Gray and family and Heather Todd and family; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the family home. Friends and family are invited to come and share stories together about Tommy.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
