(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Loetta Jean (English) DeGarmo, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Friday, September 8, 2023, in her home at the age of 84.
She was born on November 6, 1938 in Larned, KS to Clinton and Ruth (Smith) English. Loetta graduated from Trousdale High School in Trousdale, KS.
She was united in marriage to Jerry A. DeGarmo on February 2, 1958 in Trousdale, KS. Loetta lived in Dodge City, KS for 41 years. She and her husband owned and operated DeGarmo Safety Center for 31 years in Dodge City, KS.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clinton and Ruth English; her husband, Jerry DeGarmo; and her daughter, Joetta DeGarmo.
Survivors include her brother, Milton English of Pratt, KS; and her grandson, Rodger Jones and his wife Crysty of Greenfield, MO.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Greenfield First Christian Church Activity Building. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Lockwood. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
