Mark Isom

Mark R. Isom, 63 of Everton, MO passed away, in his home, surrounded by his wife and children, Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born on November 7, 1959, in Bourbon, MO, to Doyle Edwin and Needra May (Blackwell) Isom.

Mark loved his dogs. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mark also enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles. He loved bargain shopping at estate and garage sales and loved the bargain whether he needed the item or not. When Mark wasn’t outside, one might find him watching NCIS- New Orleans. Mark loved his friends and spending quality time with them. He will be fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him.

 

Mark is survived by his wife, Jody Isom; daughters, Crystal Hale, Jessica Isom; sons, James Wright, Scott Wright, Dustin Isom; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Jenny Johnston and husband Jay, Doyle Isom Jr. and wife Vicki, Sandra Isom, Jaman Isom; sister-in-law, Ann Isom; bonus brother and sister, Larry and Nasiha Lang, other family and many friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Isom.

Visitation will be 4:00PM-5:00PM, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Memorial services will be 10:00AM, Monday, September 18, 2023, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:00PM at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
