Alan Tanner

Alan Lloyd Tanner, age 62 of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Jay, Oklahoma. He was born on February 26, 1961, to Buck and Mary Jane Tanner.

Alan is preceded in death by his Parents Buck and Mary Jane Tanner; 8 brothers, Richard Stick, Sammy Tanner, Jimmy Tanner, Bobby Tanner, Eli Tanner, Joe Tanner, Levi Tanner and David Tanner along with 2 sisters, Betty Wolford and Melissa Tanner.








Alan is survived by his Sister Mary Lou Tanner; his 3 children, Makayla Ann Tanner and her husband William Walker of Jay, Oklahoma, Lindsey Ann Stafford of Jay, Oklahoma, Angela Dawn Rodriguez and her husband Abraham of Southwest City, MO; 9 Grandchildren, Jace and Turtle Compton of Jay, Oklahoma, David Walker, Jordan Rodriguez, Cameron Rodriguez, Chaney King, Zander King, Madison Rodriguez, Lauson Rodriguez and One Great-Grandchild Adaline Anacito; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Alan enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family, going fishing and to the casino’s. He loved to eat KFC Chicken, and loved spending time outdoors with his grandkids pushing the baby stroller. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Alan’s Celebration of Life Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, 6:00pm, followed by Alan’s family Visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St. Jay, OK 74346







Alan’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 1:00pm, Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St. Jay, OK 74346, followed by his funeral procession to Round Springs Cemetery, Eucha, OK.

Alan’s burial will be at Round Springs Cemetery, Eucha, OK.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St. Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
