Cheryl Hobbs

Cheryl Faye Hobbs, 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri. Cheryl was born on October 19, 1955, in Torrance, California, to Henry Chambell and Ina Pendleton.

She is survived by one son, Jeremy Sheldon; one daughter, Stephanie Dillon both of Joplin; four stepsons, Wayne Hobbs, Jimmy Hobbs, Mitchell Hobbs; three brothers, Terry Chambell (Karen), Ron Chambell, and John Chambell; two sisters, Joan Poulson, and Linda Pruitt (Birl); and four grandchildren.

Cheryl was preceded in death by two stepsons, Michael Hobbs and Patrick Slavens; four brothers, David Gilbert, Wayne Gilbert, Melvin Chambell, and Michael Chambell; and one sister, Elaine Gilbert.
Per her family’s wishes Cheryl will be cremated and services will be determined at a later date.
