(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Ellie Kate Thomas was born at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO, on November 17, 2023, at 11:11 pm. God chose that moment to take her in his arms. During that fleeting time, she touched many lives and was loved by all who awaited her arrival.
A life so brief, a child so small, she had the power to connect us all.
Ellie Kate joins many great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers in heaven. She is survived by her mother and father, Nathan and Katelyn Thomas of the home. Her grandparents, Wayne and Julie Thomas, and Bob and Sally Davis, all of Columbus.
Baby Ellie is in the care of Derfelt Funeral Home in Columbus, Ks, and there will be no services.
