Pamela Smith

Pamela J. Smith, 71, of Reeds, MO passed away at 4:20 a.m. Sunday November 26, 2023, at her home. 

Pamela was born May 31, 1952, in Carthage, the daughter of Bill “N.L.” Williams and Frances Corene Blalock. She graduated from Carthage Senior High School in 1970. 

Pamela worked at the Shirt Factory in Mt. Vernon, Big Smith, and Juvenile Shoe in Carthage. She was a bus driver for Carthage R-9 school district for 32 years. Pamela also owned and operated her own lawn care service, cleaned houses as well as doing some property management services in Carthage for many years.

Pamela was united in marriage to Jack Smith on July 10, 1999, in Carthage, MO. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons Andy Baugh and Aaron Baugh and one stepson, Rusty Smith of Webb City, MO. One daughter, Amber Baugh and four stepdaughters, Sammie Smith and her husband Mark, Mary Smith, and her husband Max both of New York, Becky Smith of Chicago and Sara Crahan and her husband Tommy of Carthage, MO. One sister Sue Miller and her husband Joe of Stockton, MO. Three grandchildren, Austin Baugh, Meghan Baugh, Triston Baugh, 5 step grandchildren, Hailey Zimmerman, J.J. Ferreira, Mahlee Crahan, Brody Brahan, Shaylee Crahan.

Pamela was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Bill Holzricker, Mason Baugh and Everlee Baugh and great grandson Theo.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services Wednesday. The burial will be in Fidelity Cemetery.
