James Orr

James Gary Orr, 70, of Joplin, Mo. Passed away on November 23, 2023.

James was born on December 30, 1952, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Edwin and Beatrice (Brasfield) Orr. He grew up in Morehouse, Missouri and graduated high school from Sikeston, Missouri, before working several years with his father at Delta Construction in New Orleans. He also worked for many years at FASCO in Eldon, Mo. and in Jefferson City at the prison, from which he retired.

 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Raymond Orr.

Survivors include his siblings; Carole Cobb (Jack) of Eldon, Mo., Barbara Orr of Plano, Tx., and Peggy Orr Starr of Little Rock, Arkansas; and daughter, Renae Nobles of Minnesota.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
