(From Parker Mortuary)Wanda M. Judah, age 78, Joplin, passed away on November 19, 2023, at her home.
Wanda was born April 3, 1945, in Great Bend, KS. She enjoyed puzzles, board games, rhyming, cross stitching, reading and doing puzzle books. Wanda loved to laugh with her kids and grandkids and had a very playful and silly personality and would never hesitate to give a good thumbs up. Wanda was a world class chef and baker, but also incredibly kind and giving and truly special. She would give everything she had to see her family well cared for and smiling. Wanda was a wife, a mother, and most importantly, a friend.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Penny Fitzmaurice, sister, Genny Ross and grandson, Laken Murdock.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Judah; children, Shelley (Kyle) Murdock, Stephanie (Andrew Mall) Judah Mall, Lisa (Dave) Williams and Jay (Gretchen) Judah; grandchildren, Katie Murdock, Max Judah and Oliver Judah; and a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary in Joplin. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Jay Judah, Max Judah, Andrew Mall, Dave Williams, Matthew Judah and Nathan Judah serving as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in Lieu of flowers.
