Ed Boese

Edward “Ed” August Boese, age 49, of Seneca, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home.

Ed was born on July 13, 1974 in Saint Joseph, MO to the late union of Harold and Sharon (Schmitt) Boese. He grew up in Sedalia, MO and moved to Seneca in the 5th grade. He was a lifelong resident of Seneca. 

He had one beautiful daughter that he was extremely proud of and praised to everyone about, Alexis Jade Boese. 

He enjoyed listening to his favorite band, Pantera. He was an avid Hot Wheel collector and Star Wars fan. He was a die-hard Chiefs fan that he passed down through the generations. His favorite character from Star Wars was Chewbacca. Ed loved his cars as well and you could often find him at motocross and rally races. He leaves behind his loyal companion, Macaroni and Cheese.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Alexis Boese; one sister, Jennifer Nelson and husband, David; one brother, Daniel Boese; and one nephew, Cody Wayne Nelson.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Parker Mortuary to help with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be held prior to funeral services on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.

Funeral arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
