(From Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home)Georgia Lizabeth Davis (age 20) of Brookline, MO, passed away at her home on November 13, 2023.
She was born in Springfield, MO, in 2003 to Todd and Molly Davis. Georgia graduated from Republic High School in 2022 and was currently in her second year at Missouri State University.
Georgia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jacqueline Sue Davis.
She is survived by her parents; brother Cooper Davis; grandfather Kenneth Davis; grandparents Pete and Barbara Hunter; aunt Jessica Berghager, uncles and aunts, Ken and Donna Davis and Jeff and Paula Davis; as well as cousins: Bridget Nobles (Jeffrey), Hunter Davis (Alexis), Ashlee Clampit (Adam), Morgan Paul (Chance), Shelby Berghager, Jacob Davis (Sydney), Jordan Davis and Claire Berghager and numerous extended cousins and family members.
Georgia was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, MSU University Ambassadors, StuMo, and SGA. She was the current Theta Chi Dream Girl and was employed by the MSU Bookstore and Madison Avenue. In the summer of 2023, she participated in Kaleo, where she was baptized and recommitted her faith in the Lord.
Georgia will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a fierce and loyal friend who never met a stranger. Her sweet smile will remain in our hearts forever. We ask that you “Check on your strong friends, Check on your quiet friends, Check on your happy friends” and continue to Love Like Georgia.

A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday, November 15 on the North Mall of the MSU campus. Visitation will be held at High Street Baptist Church on Thursday, November 16 from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be Friday, November 17 at 10:00am at the church, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
