(From Fohn Funeral Home)Roger Gale Brown, 76, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at his home.
He was born January 15, 1947, in Wheaton, Mo. the son of Ira and Ruth Pauline (Nelson) Brown, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death was three brothers, Harold Brown, Denny Brown and Frankie Brown; two sisters, Evelyn Haddock and Sandy Bierschwal and two sisters- in-law, Mary Lou Brown and Jina Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Hodges; one son, Brian Brown and his wife Mashall Lander of Live Oak, Texas; one daughter, Laura Bond and her husband Lance of Hilo, Hawaii; two brothers, Larry Brown and his wife Sue of Fairview, Mo. and Jody Brown of Cassville, Mo.; one sister, Kimmie Brown of Cassville, Mo.; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He grew up and attended school in Exeter, Mo., graduating from Exeter High School in 1965. He was employed by Wells Aluminum as a fork lift operator for 35 years from where he retired. After retiring he worked for the Cassville School District as a janitor for several years.
Services were held Friday, January 5, 2024 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Kevin Hilton conducted the services. Burial was at Concord Cemetery in Exeter, Mo..
