Kaden Rock

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Kaden Matthew Rock, a cherished son, brother, and friend, left this world too soon on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 21. Born on September 16, 2002, in Joplin, Missouri, Kaden was a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew him. His untimely passing near Lanagan, Missouri, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Raised in Lanagan, Kaden attended McDonald County Schools where he formed many lifelong friendships. He had a way of lighting up a room with his smile and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

After high school, Kaden joined the workforce at La-Z-Boy in Neosho, for a few years.

He was an avid video game enthusiast, finding joy and camaraderie in the virtual worlds he explored. His love for gaming was only matched by the love he had for his family and his girlfriend, Emma Loding. Kaden cherished the time spent with Emma, whether they were embarking on new adventures or simply enjoying each other's company.

Family was the cornerstone of Kaden's life. He is survived by his loving parents, Matthew and Treasia Rock; his dad, Derek Reeves; and his seven siblings, Eric Martin, Paul Parish, Franchesca Laughlin, Keith Rock, Summer Rock, Alexus Rock, and Hannah Rock. Kaden's presence as a brother was a source of strength and comfort, and his playful antics will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

As we say goodbye to Kaden Matthew Rock, we celebrate the time we had with him and the impact he made on our lives. His spirit will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends, reminding us to cherish every moment and to live with the same compassion and zest for life that Kaden embodied.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Pineville Cemetery with Pastor John Bartholomew officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Matt Rock, Keith Rock, Zachery Reeves, Jason Reeves, David Martin and Austin Sumner. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
