Thuan Dang

Thuan Dang, age 89 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Saturday August 10, 2024, at his home with family by his side.

He was born July 1, 1935, in Ha Nam Vietnam to Gao Bui and Voc Dang.

Thuan worked in production at Butterball. He also served as an Intelligence Officer in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnamese Army) during the Vietnam War.

He married Sanh Nguyen and she survives. Thuan is also survived by two sons, Thai Dang, Nghia Dang, one daughter, Huyen Dang, and their families, seven grandchildren, one sister Ung Dang, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday August 17, 2024, at Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer Carthage, Missouri. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery Webb City, Missouri. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00pm Friday at the mortuary.
