(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Sharon Bowles, 76, of Carthage passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 1, 1947, in Carthage, to William and Barbara Jean Robertson Sr. Sharon worked as a secretary for a medical supply business and attended Fellowship Baptist for several years. Sharon and her husband lived in Chicago for 10 years, then moved back to Carthage so they could help care for his family.
Sharon was united in marriage to Harold Bowles; he preceded her in death.
She was survived by Phillip Maggard, her longtime companion and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Robertson Jr.
There will be a visitation for Sharon from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
