Ida Hatfield

Ida June Hatfield, 81, of Granby, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. She was born on May 19, 1943, in Granby, Missouri, to Clifford Arthur Fullerton and Ida Ethel Robbins.

A graduate of Granby High School, Ida continued her education at the School of the Ozarks. On June 21, 1963, she married the love of her life, Ronald Wayne Hatfield. Together, they built a wonderful life, filled with family, faith, and hard work.







Ida worked at Sunbeam as well as owned and operated a machine quilting business. She had a lifelong love of sewing and crocheting, creating beautiful works that brought joy to many. Ida was a devoted member of Granby Methodist Church and an active presence in her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Ronald, five siblings, and two great-grandchildren.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Ronda Sawdey and husband Paul of Granby, Missouri; her son, Sam Hatfield and wife Robin of Neosho, Missouri; her sister, Joyce Hottel of Neosho, Missouri; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Ida will be remembered for her boundless creativity, her love of family, and her dedication to her community and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
