Charles Allen Paden, 96, Stark City, passed away on October 5, 2018. He was born September 20, 1922 in Newtonia, MO to Squire Elsie and Lillie (Putman) Paden. Mr. Paden served in the US Army. He was a cattle farmer and had worked for over 32 years at John Hancock in the Agricultural Loan Department. He returned to the Stark City/Newtonia area in 1982, after spending time in Boston, MA.
Charles was a member of the Granby Methodist Church. He loved raising his cattle and farming.
Charles married Patricia Patterson on May 24, 1949; she preceded him in death on January 22, 2014. He is survived by four children: Alice Via of Stark City, Steven Paden of Stark City, Carolyn Paden of Alexandria, VA, and Stan Paden of China; one grandchild, Noelle Borda; and one great grandchild, Odin Borda.
The family is planning a private memorial service and burial.
