Lynette Rowe, 64, Carthage, MO, entered into rest on Sept. 29, 2018 in Joplin, MO.
She was born Feb. 5, 1954 in Eads, CO to Archie Lee and Viola (Smotherman) Sickelbower, but spent the majority of her life in the SW MO area. Lynette was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, and paint. She was a member of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She loved her dog, Jax and especially enjoyed going on dates with her husband of 49 years, Wayne.
Lynette and Wayne were married Oct. 12, 1969 in Neosho; he survives of the home. She is also survived by two children, Cindy Smith and husband, James and Roxanne Asher; three sisters, Cheryl Grewell, Fayetta Wynn and husband, Gary, and Jackie Boothe and husband, Dennis; three grandchildren, Jonathan Paul, Brendan Smith, and Bryston Smith; three great grandchildren, Lochlan Paul, Barrett Paul, and Autumn Paul.
Services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with Dr. Todd Decker officiating. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery, Neosho. Honoring Lynette by serving as pallbearers will be Pat Mabrey, Doug Sparks, Jonathan Paul, Brendan Smith, James Smith, Gary Wynn, and Dennis Boothe. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 until 7 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
