Brilyn Rae Perez passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents at the Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis Missouri. Brilyn was born to Brecklyn Jo Johnson and Antonio Perez of Joplin Missouri.
Brilyn was born July 24, 2019 at 7:31 PM at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Brilyn weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz. she was 19 inches long and we can't ever forget the most beautiful head of black hair.
Her Papa John's mother, Grandma jellybean was standing in heaven's doorway with her arms wide open to welcome Brilyn as she passed, surrounded by her family, at 7:05PM on July 30, 2019. Brilyn's six precious days of life has left us with a lifetime of cherish memories.
Brilyn is survived by her parents, One sister ,Nevaeh, of the home. Maternal grandparents Traci Bowling of Joplin and Zachory Johnson of Joplin Missouri great grandparents Dixie and Michael Newberry of Columbus Rick Newberry of Columbus and John and Vicky Johnson of West Mineral Great great grandparents Mary Pallettt of Weir and Kay Zwahlen of Grove Oklahoma. Paternal grandparents are Brunny Burgos and Pedro Perez . Great grandmother Felicita Martinez Perez of Puerto Rico. Brilyn is survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be Monday, August 5 at 11 AM the location will be the star cemetery located west of West Mineral kansas. Justin Coberely and Andy Peterman will officiate. In Lieu of flowers they are asking for donations to help with medical and travel expenses. Donations can be made at Derfelt Funeral home 132 East Pine Street Columbus Kansas. 66725.
