Margie Ann Link, 95, formerly of Diamond, entered into rest on August 2, 2019 at the Spring River Christian Village in Joplin. She was born on October 23, 1923 In Diamond, the daughter of John Lester and Blanch (Kagy) Shimp.
A graduate of Diamond High School, Mrs. Link then married Rex Clark Link in Diamond on February 26, 1942 and were married for nearly seventy years before his death on February 26, 2012.
Margie was employed by Rocketdyne in Neosho serving as a traffic analyst before retiring in 1997 at the age of 73. She was a longtime member of the High Street Christian Church in Neosho.
Margie is survived by two sons: Ron Link of Joplin, MO, and John Link of Olathe, KS. Six grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rex and two sisters, Olga Donovan and Dorothy Letterman.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Spring River Christian Village Chapel.
