Bruce Salsman

Bruce Edwin Salsman, 83, Neosho, MO entered into rest August 3, 2019 after experiencing some time of failing health. Bruce was born December 31, 1931 in Brighton, MO, the sixth of seven children born to Melvin Murrey and Dee Lacey (Rowland) Salsman.

He lived most of his life in the Neosho area, moving to Newton County in 1935. Bruce served his country for ten years in the US Air Force and for eleven years in the National Guard. He served in Korea in 1953. Bruce proudly was a lifetime member of the 203rd Hound Dog retirees; a lifetime member of the American Legion; and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was of the Baptist faith, having had membership in the First Freewill Baptist Church in Neosho and the Faith Baptist Church of Neosho.







Bruce is survived by one son, Douglas Bruce Salsman and wife, Connie of Neosho; two grandchildren, Clint “Bubba” Salsman and Lacey Warner; three great grandchildren, Karleigh, Adaline, and Lance; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Services will be 10 am Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho. D.L. Huffman will officiate. Interment will follow at Neosho IOOF Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held 6pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, August 7 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
