Dale Dardenne

Calvin "Dale" Dardenne, of Baxter Springs, Kansas passed from this life on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 in Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. He was 56.

Dale was born in Joplin, Missouri on June 7, 1963 to Abraham Benjamin Dardenne and Goldie Helen Arnold. He grew up in Baxter Springs and also lived in Galena, Kansas, before returning to his hometown.

Dale was employed as Head Greenskeeper for Loma Linda Country Club for many years, and previously worked as a Detailer. His passion was cars, trucks, and motorcycles and there was nothing he couldn't fix. Dale was a hardworking man and a devoted Dad and Papa.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers James Dardenne, Darrell Dardenne, Gary Dardenne and Donnie Dardenne and his sisters Colleen Martin, Sue Alderman, Diann Gideon, Barbara Butterworth and Patsy Shallenburger.








He is survived by his son, Melvin Dardenne and spouse Jenna, of Baxter Springs, and daughter Lisa Farrell and husband Monty of Webb City, MO; his brother Steve Dardenne, wife Linda, of Baxter Springs, his sister Debbie Gattenby, husband Noel, of Tulsa, OK, and grandsons Tyler, Ryan and Onyx, and granddaughters Macey and Daniella.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Pastor Roger Scantlin will officiate. Burial will be in the Baxter Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening August 7, 2019 from 6:00-7:00 p.m., at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
