(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Claude Perry, 69, of Carthage, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022. He was born November 24, 1952 in Carthage. He was the only son to Frank Perry and Nadine (Martin) Perry.
Claude was a photojournalist for the Carthage Press and the Neosho News. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era.
Claude enjoyed skating with his grandchildren and going out to sing karaoke. He taught his grandchildren to drive in his truck, loved his Braum’s Ice Cream, and loved God.
Claude was united in marriage to Tammy Dent on March 25, 2006 at BYKOTA Church in Carthage; she survives.
Claude is also survived by 3 daughters, Amber LaFleur (Matthew Compton) of Joplin, Missouri, Tosha LaFleur of Joplin, Missouri, and Samantha Janney (Paul) of Virginia; and eight grandchildren, Dawson, Kiesha, Mikah, Kaden, Kaylee, Caleb, Daisy and Lyrik.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nadine Perry and two sisters, Nancy Francisco and Marsha Tatum.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services.
