(From Clark Funeral Home)Martin David Mann, age 57, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Richmond, Indiana. He was born May 2, 1964, in Inglewood, California, to John Anthony and Donna Jean (Boynton) Mann.
Martin graduated in 1982 from Provo High School in Provo, Utah. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1982-1986 in the 2nd Battalion 75th Infantry Ranger, 9th Infantry Division Airbourne Reconnaissance, and ROTC cadre. His skills and training extended to Airborne Infantry, Ranger, Pathfinder, and U.S. Forest Service Smoke Jumper.
Throughout his life, Martin had careers in security, hotel management, and even as a bondsman. Martin was currently employed at Fleenor Brother Enterprises in Carthage as a truck driver. He loved surfing, snow skiing, target and skeet shooting, camping, and doing anything outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Mann of the home, Jackie Cushman of Davenport, Iowa, two brothers, Bobby and Brett Mann, and numerous dear friends who were like family to him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Neosho IOOF Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
