(From Clark Funeral Home)Loella 'Sissy' J. Friend, age 59, Neosho, entered into rest on March 18, 2022 in the comfort of her home in Neosho.
Loella was born December 21, 1962 in Ft. Stockton, Texas. She graduated from Abilene, Texas High School and moved to the Neosho area in 1980 from Texas. She had worked at Sunbeam Leisure Products and at Crowder Industries.
Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She attended the Church of Christ.
Loella and Ricky Dale Friend were married on August 2, 1985 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Hance and husband, Seth of Granby and Danielle (Noe Mendoza) Friend of Neosho; two stepdaughters, Mandi Boswell of Neosho and Misti Bivens of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kassidy Hance, Alexander Mendoza, Lukas Hance, Christian Mendoza, Adilyn Hance, Jasper Love, Gabriel Hance, John Christopher Hess and Penelope Boswell; her father, Clarence Corning; siblings, David Smith and wife, Julie, Jay Smith and wife, Jane, Christen Wilson and husband, James, Caryn Corning, Steve Roberts and wife, Tatyna and Troy Roberts and wife, Diane.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her mother, Sue Corning and biological mother, Rhodora Ellen Henthorn.
