(From Clark Funeral Home)Sarah Ellen Halsey was born September 21, 1931, in Monett, Missouri. She entered into rest on March 19, 2022, in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 90.
Sarah had worked at the sewing factory in Pierce City and then worked at Dairy Queen in Monett for twenty-five years and was a homemaker. She was a gifted seamstress, enjoyed crocheting and making crafts and selling them at local craft fairs. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
She married Leroy Halsey and he precedes her in death. Sarah is survived by three daughters, Betty Osborn and husband, Don of Neosho, May Belle Cutchens of Neosho and Lynette Bailey and husband, David of Monett; one sister, Helen Harbolt of Shawnee, Kansas; three grandchildren, Cameron Cutchens, Colton Cutchens, and Carissa McLean and great-grandchildren, Zoey Bailey, Spencer McLean, and Ronin Cutchens.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Roamoeller, infant daughter, Linda Kay Rohmoeller, and two brothers, George Williams, and Lavern Williams.
The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Neosho. Graveside services will follow at 3 pm at the Zion Evangelical Cemetery, west of Freistatt, Pastor Barry Reel will officiate.
