(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Richard Kraxberger, 76, of Carthage, Missouri passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at his home. He was born January 30, 1946 in Flager, Colorado, the son of John Kraxberger and Esther (Youngdahl) Kraxberger.
Richard was a longtime Carthage Resident. He received his associate’s degree from Ozark Christian College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Missouri Southern State University, both in Joplin, Missouri.
Richard was employed by former Consumer’s Grocer’s for 25 years. He was an active member of Fairview Christian Church in Carthage, where he served as both an Elder and a Deacon.
Richard loved NASCAR and his grandchildren.
Richard was united in marriage to Barbara Wagahoff on September 6, 1974 in Joplin, Missouri; she survives.
Richard is also survived by one son, Brennan Kraxberger and wife, Becky, of Newport News, Virginia; one daughter, Kristin Harper and her husband, Aaron, of Raymore, Missouri; three sisters, Carole Martin, Hope Owen and Enid Fowler; and four grandchildren, Hudson, Nolan, Ethan and Ansley.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday prior to services at the church. There will be a Private Family Burial.
