(From Clark Funeral Home)Linda Mae Chancellor, age 82, of Seneca, Missouri, entered into rest at 9:39 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home. She was born January 10, 1940, in Goodman, Missouri, to the late Hugh and Loraine (Voyles) Jones.
On October 17, 1959, she married Arthur Chancellor in Goodman, Missouri, and he survives her of the home.
Linda and her husband moved to Seneca in 1994 and have resided there ever since. She was a homemaker, avid reader, loved cooking, going to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and celebrating the 4th of July with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Mitzi Layton and her husband, Tom, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tina Hock of Branson, Missouri; one brother, Donald Jones and his wife, Betty, of Goodman; three sisters, Peggy Lankford and her husband, Max, of Seneca, Connie Weins of Neosho, and Marilyn Walker of Jackson, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Christopher Layton, Sarah LaRue, and Lindsey Hock; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia LaRue, and Maeve and Violet Layton.
