(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Doyle Jay Cooper, 56, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center.
Doyle was born on Saturday, May 8, 1965 in Joplin, Missouri, to the union of the late Doyal and Sarah (Evans) Cooper. He was a graduate of Memorial High School in Joplin, Missouri.
On June 7, 2014 he was united in marriage to Belinda Ellis. For several years he worked for Mercy Hospital in Joplin and Innovative Industries in Carthage, Missouri. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyal and Sarah Cooper; his siblings, Judy Gilbert and George Cooper.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Belinda; sister, Mary Gregory, of Jasper, Missouri; his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Holly Ellis, of Sarcoxie; grandparents, Marvin and Mary Ellis of Carthage, Missouri and Irene Jones of Monett, Missouri; brother-in-law’s, Ethan Ellis, of Sarcoxie, Missouri and Vern Gilbert, of Jasper, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
