Doyle L. Todd, 77, Avilla, MO passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home. Doyle Lee Todd was born May 17, 1940 in Lockwood, MO to Orlie and Francis Todd. Doyle married Ada Mae Maggard on September 5, 1969 in Carthage, MO, she survives. He worked as a Machine Operator at Carmar/Americold Logistics for 38 years before having to retire due to health issues. He attended the Avilla Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Ada Mae, two daughters, Teresa (husband Jerry) Foiles, Avilla, MO, Angela (husband Philip) Allen, Lamar, MO; one son, Mike (wife Johnda) Todd, Avilla, MO; two sisters, Janice Jeffries, Carthage, MO, Jean Burtrum, Springfield, MO; two brothers, Carroll Todd, Marionville, MO, Wendell (wife Janey) Todd, Carthage, MO; ten grandchildren, Danny (wife Hannah) Foiles, Elizabeth Lawerance, Jeremy Todd, Makayla Todd, Jared (wife Keesha) Todd, Cheyenne Allen, Morgan Allen, Austin Allen, Kelly (husband Brandon) Ross, Danielle (husband Josh) Purinton; and two great-grandchildren, Kylie Lawerance and Josie Purinton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dale Todd, and a grandson, Colby Todd.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Knell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Knell Mortuary. Interment will follow at Avilla Cemetery. Minister Lance Green will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Knell Mortuary.
