Gaylin R. 'Randy' Hay, age 59, Joplin, passed away at 3:42 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at a local nursing center.
Randy was born January 25, 1958 in Joplin to the late Harry Hay and Frances Irwin Hay and had lived in the Joplin area most of his life.
Randy worked as a self employed welder and was a lover of Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his children, Miranda Hay, California, Angela Hay, Webb City, GayLynn Hay, Webb City, Vincent Hay, Springfield; two sisters, Retha 'Lori' Matejcek, Gera Smith and husband, Tayvon, all of Joplin; one brother, Russell Hay, Joplin; six grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and one great niece.
Services are planned for Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary. Kyle Beverlin will officiate. A visitation is planned for Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. There will be a family committal at Osborne Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
