James Dale "Jim" White, 78 yrs old, of Noel, Missouri passed away suddenly on Wednesday June 21, 2017 in Noel, MO. James White was born June 15, 1939 in Maysville, AR. He was the son of James Selby White and Jeweldine Payne White. Jim was a United States Air Force veteran who proudly served his country from 1957-1970.
Jim is survived by his wife Peggy Lou White. They were married in Miami, OK March 5, 1976. Jim is also survived by his daughters, Cheryl Shriver and husband Jon of Dewey, OK, Brenda Sova and husband David of Claremore, OK, Sherri Hendricks of Claremore, OK; sons Bryian Scott White of Noel, MO, James Alonzo White and wife Jaime of Fort Worth, TX; brothers Kenneth Setser of Decator, AR, Lee Williams and wife Sarah; sisters, Shirley Shook and husband Donnie of Gentry, AR, Jeannie Goodwin and husband Glenn of Decatur, AR, Brenda Morriss and husband Doug of Mountainburg, AR and Mary Ross of Gravette, AR. Jim has 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Jim was a joyful, loving, and happy man and will be greatly missed. He had a creative and beautiful mind always searching for new things to learn and had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother Bobbie Lee White, mother and father, grandparents Joe and Iva White, and his second parents Alonzo "Lon" and Martha "Matti" Payne, all from Decatur, AR.
Jim's Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday June 25, 2017 at Ginger Blue Inn in Ginger Blue, MO. The public is welcome to attend. The Inurnment will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville AR.
